THE CLIENT

Melbourne Pixel was a great Australian web magazine which profiled and interviewed artists, designers and illustrators, had book and bar reviews, and featured links to fantastic creative websites.

THE BRIEF

Blue Giant was tasked with creating the Melbourne Pixel logo and promotional material.

OUR APPROACH

We had to create something especially creative and graphic for this client as they were starting up a website that specifically focused on great design. The logo also had to work well and be instantly recognisable as a very small on-screen icon. In the end, we came up with an 'M' for Melbourne, stylised as a flame to symbolise the fire resulting from the creative spark.
